Billing Insurance

Roots & Branches Counseling, LLC accepts numerous health insurances for therapy, listed below. Availability may be based on the particular provider you are seeing for services.

Accepted/ In-Network health insurance:

• PacificSource Health Plans

• Blue Cross Blue Shield

• United Health Plans / Optum

• Providence Health Plans

• Aetna

• Moda (Karissa Only)

• Cigna (Karissa Only)

• Out of Network

If we are out of network with your insurance, we can provide you with documentation of services, called a “superbill” for you to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement. Please note that many insurance companies may only reimburse a portion of the service fee.

(note: Coaching services are not a medical service and cannot be billed to your insurance)

Out-of-pocket & Sliding Scale Fees

We provide therapy as well as coaching services for a designated out-of-pocket payment.

This may be an appropriate option for those who are uninsured, those who are seeking a service not covered by insurance (eg. Medicaid does not cover couples’ counseling), or those who are seeking coaching services specifically.

Rates for Services (without sliding scale):

• 60 min. Individual session: $220

• 45 min individual session: $190

• 60 min. couples session: $240
